ABSTRACT
Anesthesia workstation is the characteristic medical equipment in the modern
hospital operating room. In modern anesthesia operations, anesthesia workstations are
not only required to convey reliable and stable anesthesia gas, but also to provide solid
anesthesia monitoring system. However, the recent monitoring system of anesthesia
workstation is far from well-established as it can only show monitoring informations in
local operating room. Therefore, the traditional anesthesia workstation has comparable
large defects in aspects of digital information integration, remote transmission network,
friendly man-machine interaction, and so on.
Taking embedded processor as core, the project designed the monitoring
parameters’ transmission system of anesthesia workstation on the basis of the blood
oxygen module and anesthesia machine. The monitoring system not only has the basic
functions of monitoring, transmitting and displaying of local blood oxygen and
anesthesia parameters, but also well designed in monitoring informations integration,
safe and reliable network transmission and friendly man-machine interaction, which
well solved the problems of traditional anesthesia workstation.
In general, the article comprises five sections. The first chapter is a brief
introduction. The second chapter introduces the overall design of anesthesia monitoring
system. The third chapter describes the design of local data’s collection, transmission
and display in detail, and introduces the system’s alarm function as well. The
construction of HL7 message and the design of remote network transmission in the
anesthesia monitoring system are described detailedly in the fourth chapter. In the final
part (chapter 5), we summarizes the anesthesia monitoring system in our project and
then proposes the prospects of the system in future.
Through the design of anesthesia monitoring system, the author have been familiar
with and mastered the standards developing process of embedded software. Meanwhile,
the design of the system, pointing out the development direction of modern anesthesia
workstation monitoring system, has wide application prospects.
