Abstract
E-commerce is a new network of economic activity and is rapidly developing at an
unprecedented rate. It has become the major developed countries to enhance economic
competitiveness and the effective means to win the global advantages of resource
allocation. Under the dual pressure of the current international financial crisis and
economic crisis, Maintaining international market share and developing new business
into the international market is a major task of China's economy in 2011. In this regard,
the role of international e-commerce will become increasingly important. So the inter-
based e-commerce development is the inevitable trend for enterprises. But The e-
commerce in China has experienced a cold, fever and then a rational long-term
development. Now, whether business or government regarded the focus gradually on the
questions of the applications on E-commerce. The questions which to promote the wider
use of e-commerce and to hinder the development of e-commerce will be the hot issue
in the field of electronic commerce.
For this reason, the article will choose the factors influencing enterprises to
participate in E-commerce to study.
1) E-commerce is an emerging business model, it highly combine new technology,
new business models and new management skills. This is different from information
technology innovation and diffusion. In the past , researchers often based on the
individual to study the applications and diffusion of E-commerce, and less to study the
business or organization. And then the paper build the model of factors influencing
Chinese enterprises to participate in Electronic Commerce through learning and
integration of information technology of the classical theory.
2) Early scholars of e-commerce research is much qualitative analysis, less in
quantitative analysis. This paper based on field survey to obtain more realistic data, and
then Revealed different levels of different factors for China's enterprises to participate in
the important influence of e-commerce, built in line with China's actual situation of e-
commerce enterprises to participate in an empirical model though learning and
integration of information technology of the classical theory. This model explained the
internal and external factors to affect enterprises to participate in E-commerce. It made
some contributions and innovation to our E-commerce research.
3) The article based on the enterprises participating in E-commerce model and
mainly obtain information and data through questionnaire. Then test the model utilizing
survey data, obtains the result using SPSS software. The study found that Perceived
risk 、size of the organization 、investment degree 、managers attitude 、potential
benefits、Intensity of competition、relationships with business partners、tide pressure are
the important factors to affect Chinese enterprise to participate in E-commerce.
4) The article considered China's specific national conditions, analysis the key
factors to affect Chinese enterprises to participate in E-commerce. Explains the
questions just like why Suning choose E-commerce, how Best Buy made the tragedy
after entering China. And increased the competition that enterprise should dominate
