ABSTRACT
Electronic commerce is an important part of the global information industry and
shares increasing proportion of total retail sales of social consumer goods, has become
the emerging sunrise industries by key supported in 21st century. B2C e-commerce as
the pillar for entire e-commerce industry has achieved rapid development mostly
promoted by new media marketing in recent years. New media marketing and
traditional marketing model is quite different, new marketing mode to the new
performance evaluation methods. Therefore comparing new media marketing with
traditional marketing model, their direction and effect of propagation are very different.
In order to develop the optimal new media marketing strategy and maximize marketing
performance, it’s very necessary to evaluate new media marketing performance for B2C
e-commerce enterprises.
Paper first analyzes the evolution process of the traditional marketing model of
new media marketing, analyzed the enterprise in the new media marketing environment.
Secondly, paper researches a variety of new media marketing mode applied and
summarizes new media marketing system of B2C e-commerce enterprise, that are
shopping official website online marketing - micro-blog marketing - SNS social
networking marketing - internet video marketing. Then by using the structural equation
model based on new media marketing data sample of Chinese leading 10 companies in
2011, paper gets their performance contribution of all kinds of new media marketing
way for B2C e-commerce enterprise, and the mutual relations in the new media
marketing system. Model results show that micro-blog marketing makes the largest
contribution to new media marketing performance, shopping official website online
marketing makes middle contribution, SNS social network marketing makes less
contribution and internet video marketing lags. Finally, paper puts forward the
countermeasures and suggestions that B2C e-commerce enterprise needs more deeply
into consumer personality groups, creates professional operation team and develops low
cost but high quality marketing strategies when implementing new media marketing.
