ABSTRACT
Internationalization of China's small and medium-sized enterprises has become an
irreversible trend. In the circles of academy and enterprise, however, there are many
misunderstandings on the connotations of the process and enterprises'steps of gearing
into international conventions. After China 's accession to the WTO, those
internationalizing enterprises have found themselves in the profound changes of
economic situations. And a large group of Chinese small and medium-sized companies
speeded up their step, rapidly joining in global competition. In practice of the process,
however, they confronted problems, such as continuous trade conflicts, weak world -
famous brands, small scope foreign investments, and less - smooth mergence of foreign
companies. Our small and medium-sized enterprises should take the view of
globalization against misunderstanding of enterprise internationalization, seek for a
good place for themselves in global industrial chain, foster their distinctive core
competitive power, follow international rules, and find a strategy suitable for them.
The start-up of small and medium-sized enterprises of our country is relatively late;
hence, the support which the Chinese economic environment brings to the
internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises is certainly immature
compared with those developed countries. No doubt, the above-mentioned is the
disadvantage of our country; however, we can borrow the international experiences
from the developed countries, which permits the Chinese small and medium-sized
enterprises make less mistakes on their way of development. This is the advantage of
the Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises. Making analysis of the
internationalized enterprises has no longer been a question, however, a conclusion
drawn from those analysis that suits the Chinese National Condition is still a puzzle.
The successful enterprises have their own reasons: improved management, refined
products, personalized marketing strategy and the talents put to the best use. Based on
these four aspects, Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises should summarize a
series of strategy in international development that is suitable for them in the future,
according to the contemporary economic situation and their own conditions.
This paper discuss on the way of applying the strategies, we need analyze the
experiment and experiment through analysis; meanwhile, we need to combine the
scientific view of development, because no enterprise can apply all the strategies and
