ABSTRACT
Order is one of the most important operative information for the iron and steel
industry, its contents not only include property, specification and delivery time by the
user, but also include the information in the establishing and performing the schedules.
Order is the ligament between the corporation and users. In the corporation, order
planning is established between the main planning and materiel planning, order
planning must accomplish the tasks of the main planning, and it also should be
convenient for every order. Order planning is subsection of the main planning, it can
communicate between the inside and outside of the corporation, order could also
reduce the conflict and error between the marketing and production department, attain
the coherence in the corporation.
With the development of the manufacturing such as automobile and house-hold
wiring, the need of the iron and steel become smaller batch and more variety, it
displays in the order is the standard and variety become more and more. To achieve the
delivering on time and well planning of the order, the BaoSteel has special
order-tracking missionary. But because of the large quantity of the date and the
hardness for collecting the information, the manual work of the order-tracking is
multifarious, it takes much manpower and material resources but doesn’t reach a
satisfying effect.
The article takes the order-tracking task in BaoSteel as the background, a
Order-Tracking and Optimizing Decision Support System is developed by Visual C++
6.0 and SQL Server 2000. The system includes the basic order tracking and querying,
dynamic querying, collecting and statistics, the tracking of the important users, the
analyzing of the stock and the machine throughput forecasting and so forth.
For the large press of the machine throughput problem, a mathematical is
formulated under the disruption management conception. A Scatter Search algorithm is
presented for this problem. The experimental data is from the real order data in
BaoSteel, after using by the planners, it’s easy to say: based on the model and
algorithm, the press of the machine throughput could be reduced and other machines’
throughput could be used effectively, and it could also increase the efficiency and
delivering on time rate of the orders.
