ABSTRACT
Nowadays, as the development into economic globalization and informatization,
the copy right of global range has showed high development situation, this has become
the brand new engine of almost every country and district. A glance at highly
development countries of copyright industrial, we may easily find that literary agency
has already become the most important process of mature copyright industrial. However,
Chinese literary agents started later than developed countries. Compared with British
and American literary agents, the literary agents in our country are still in an early stage
of development, which including marketing mechanism, industrial scale, profitable
level and quality of staffs. Thus, how to build perfect literary agency system that may
give full scope to the market mechanism which may ensure the system operating with
highly efficiency. This is the key to improve the copyright industrial. It is also an
essential method to improve the industrial competition and soft power.
The paper adopts the way of analysis and comparison, especially analysis the gap
between British and American countries with Chinese literary agent in origin,
development status and present status. I concentrated on analyzing market mechanism
and the various elements in the literary agents. It is important to find out the main
reason of huge gap between us and foreign countries. At the same time, we need to
found the British and American countries in our work of the copyright system and legal
system. Combines with the market conditions is provided to the development of
Chinese copyright for the strategic recommendations.
The paper divided into five parts. The first part describes the background, research
methods and in the field of literature detailed review. The second part is to elaborate the
concept of thesis which is based on the full text. Including what is meant by copyrights,
the market mechanism, flexibility and literary agency? Meanwhile, combine with the
origin of literary market and backgrounds are necessary. The third part is to analysis
how does the market mechanism made effect on literary agent in both Chinese and
foreign countries. If we learn the developed experience from developed countries, we
will build up perfect copyright systems which can emphasis the literary agent. In the
process of collecting data materials, adding plenty of examples is a good way to express
