ABSTRACT
With the development of science and technology, the Central Air Conditioning has
been widely used in adjusting the indoor environment of a public place and also
become a very necessary electrical apparatus in our common life. However, the dust in
the tube of Central air conditioning which is not cleaned in time can induce air
pollution and great harm to people. The dust can also influence the function of the
central air conditioning and this will consequently increase energy consumption. So,
regular detecting and cleaning of the central air conditioning is very necessary for
people's health and our environment, the research it has great practical and commercial
value.
First, the paper introduces the harm of the air pollution from Central
Air-Conditioning and the necessary of the regular cleaning. The current situation and
developing direction of the central air conditioning cleaning robots both in the
domestic and abroad are analyzed in the thesis, subsequently, the research meaning and
main content of the thesis are expounded.
Second, the thesis put forward a new type of crawler-walking mechanism which is
composed of belt pulleys and double-sided belt based on the result of contrast analysis
on leg-walking mechanism ,wheel walking mechanism and crawler-walking
mechanism and inner condition of the central air conditioning ,this mechanism can
keep the stability of cleaning robot. The robot take modular design,which make the
machine assembled easily, congregating two functions including detecting and
cleaning. Through the research of construction of cleaning brush and its cleaning
efficiency and types of pipes, the thesis put forward a new cleaning brush with
rectangular or circular cross section based on the characteristic of the central air
conditioning in our country, this type of brush is more efficient and can cover more
area. Transmissions device which is coordinated with the brush is also been put
forward, this device can be easily assembled.
Then the hardware circuit of robot control system is designed and constructed. As
the robot walking and cleaning requirements of running a long time, the power
consumption is great, so the design uses a cable-powered. The existing central air
conditioning wall is mostly metal, shielding effect on the radio, communication
between PC and MCU is converted via the serial.
