various wireless access methods in 4G wireless communication system, OFDM is the
m o s t f a v o r a b l e o n e . A m o n g d i f f e r e n t k i n d s o f m o d u l a t i o n m e t h o d s i n 4 G w i r e l e s s
communication system, MC-CDMA and OFDM-TDMA are the most possible ones. AS
a combination of multi-carrier communication and multiple accesses, an integration of
O F D M , Va r i a b l e S p r e a d i n g F a c t o r a n d C D M A , M C - C D M A b a s e d V S F - O F C D M i s
s u i t a b l e f o r b r o a d b a n d m u l t i m e d i a c o m m u n i c a t i o n w h e r e s t a t u s o f w i r e l e s s l i n k i s
unstable, data rate is high and system capacity is huge. Lots of complex techniques are
involved in VSF-OFCDM, such as OFDM, CDMA, Variable Spreading Factor, Coding,
Interleaving, Adaptive Modulation, Channel Detection, Symbol Synchronization,
A d a p t i v e F r e q u e n c y H o p p i n g , F r e q u e n c y E f f i c i e n c y , R e s o u r c e A l l o c a t i o n a n d B i t
Loading Algorithm. Great achievements have been made both in theory and application
of OFDM. Yet most of them are confined in OFDM, with less consideration of CDMA
and Variable Spreading Factor.
T h e r e s e a r c h h e r e i n i s a t e n t a t i v e s t u d y o f B i t L o a d i n g A l g o r i t h m w i t h j o i n t
allocation of subcarriers, Bits and Power in VSF-OFCDM wireless communication. The
main task of the research lies in how to optimize the allocation of subcarriers, bits and
power for each service in the period of transmitting symbol according to the instant
channel status and service characteristics. A simulation model of VSF-OFCDM wireless
c o m m u n i c a t i o n s y s t e m i s b u i l t w i t h m o d u l a r b l o c k s , d y n a m i c p a r a m e t e r s a n d
i n t e r a c t i v e i n t e r f a c e s , w h i c h s i m u l a t e s i n t e g r a t e d c o m m u n i c a t i o n s e r v i c e s i n c l u d i n g
v i d e o , a u d i o a n d d a t a , f a c i l i t a t i n g t h e s i m u l a t i o n a n d a n a l y s i s o f v a r i o u s s t a t u s o f
w i r e l e s s l i n k a n d c o m b i n a t i o n o f v a r i o u s s e r v i c e s . , a n d e s p e c i a l l y f o r t h a t o f t h e
c h a n n e l d e t e c t i o n b a s e d a n d o b j e c t - o r i e n t e d a l g o r i t h m p r o p o s e d h e r e i n . S i n c e V S F -
O F C D M w i r e l e s s c o m m u n i c a t i o n s y s t e m i s e x t r e m e l y s e n s i t i v e t o t i m e s h i f t a n d
f r e q u e n c y s h i f t, t h e r e s e a r c h a l s o s t r e ss e s t h e a n a l y si s a n d d e s i gn o f pr e ci s e c h a n n e l
detection module.
The originality of the research is the thought of service-oriented subcarrier
a l l o c a t i o n , w h i c h l e a d s t o t h e B i t L o a d i n g A l g o r i t h m w i t h j o i n t a l l o c a t i o n o f
subcarriers, Bits and Power. The algorithm is stable and performs well as tested by the
s i m u l a t i o n r e s u l t s . If t h e a c h i e v e m e n t h e r e i n b e a p p l i e d i n c o m m u n i c a t i o n b e t w e e n
pre cisi on in s tru men ts, the y w o ul d be us a ble in mo re c om p le x si tua t io n s , and rel iab le
c o m m u n i c a t i o n c a n b e g u a r a n t e e d, e v e n i n s o m e v e r y a t r o c i o u s o n e s .
Its’ foreground in industrial detection and quality control is remarkable.
