ABSTRACT
The main task of this subject is to design and build an energy conservation
equipment of thermal performance-testing system of air conditioner – air enthalpy
different method in line accordance with national standards GB/T 7725-2004 and GB -
T 21087-2007.There are two distinct differences over the other methods. First, a heat
recovery exchanger is put in the air handling system of the indoor side. Second, the
outdoor side refrigeration units use hot gas bypass energy regulation and evaporating
pressure regulator. Main job includes, the design of air handling system, the system
design of hot gas bypass, the design of automatic control system, electrical systems
design, authoring software and the thermal performance test of air conditioner.
The energy conservation principle of heat recovery exchanger is that it can use the
hot refrigerant vapor leaving the compressor to heat air. This can reduce the
consumption of electric heaters and save energy. The principle of hot gas bypass: As the
cooling load decrease, the evaporating temperature likewise starts to decrease. This can
cause high dehumidify capability and increase the amount of humidity. This method of
application can change compressor output to adapt to the change of operating conditions.
As the cooling load decrease, the hot gas is introduced directly into the low pressure
side. This can make evaporating pressure increase; the evaporating temperature likewise
starts to increase. So it can reduce the quantity of dehumidification and humidification
amount, saving energy. This subject is based on studying on the energy saving of the air
conditioning performance-testing, putting forward the use of heat recovery exchanger
and the method of hot gas bypass to save energy.
With experiments on the heat recovery exchanger, hot gas bypass and evaporating
pressure regulator, the influence of them on air conditioner performance-testing was
studied. After using the heat recovery exchanger, hot gas bypass and evaporating
pressure regulator, the uniformity of temperature and work conditions in the
environmental chamber are fully met the technical specifications of the environmental
chamber, meeting the requirements of the national standards. On that basis, the energy
consumption of this equipment was analyzed, proving that the heat recovery exchanger
and hot gas bypass can reduce energy consumption of the lab.
The test software platform is based on labview, object-oriented programming,
ADO, multi- threading and so on. The combination of the control system and test
software achieves to the automation of the process control and data acquisition.
