ABSTRACT
The Internet of things is one of the most important emerging industries that in the
field of industrial monitoring developed rapidly. It is hoped that in the field of industrial
monitoring people have installed a series of sensors in the objects and devices. These
sensors transfer their property data and monitoring status via the Multi-hop
Self-organization wireless network, and then connect to the traditional Internet. It
enables people to use the Internet of things communicate with the objects around the
world. The Internet of things involves a wide range of wireless communication
technologies, including Wi-Fi technology, RFID technology, Bluetooth technology,
ZigBee technology and so on. People use the wireless communication technology and
modern network technology to build a huge network consisting of an Internet and
sensor network, thereby connecting the virtual world and the real world. People use this
technology in industrial in order to fully play the strength of high-tech network to create
the live in the future.
First of all, this article introduced the concept of the Internet of things, the research
background and this significance, and then introduced its technologies and development
level in detail, and explained the significance of the topic. Second, it described the
ZigBee protocol architecture, including the physical layer, the media access control
layer, the network layer and application layer protocols, and described the ZigBee
technology network topology. Third, it major researched the peripheral of the Internet of
things--terminal equipment, the sensor nodes. This article details the design of the
sensor nodes’ hardware and software. Finally, this article uses the internet of things
technology to design a set of applications for industrial control temperature and
humidity monitoring system, and to focused develop the PC software section. The
system uses the ZigBee wireless communication technology to form the Multi-hop
Self-organization sensor network, and via the sensor network transmits the data
information to the central node to centralized treatment, and then uses the serial port to
communicate with the PC. Meanwhile it analysis and process this data. Finally, the PC
connects with other networks and transmits this data to form a ubiquitous network.
